Hi I am Kim! I live in Gasport with my husband and my two crazy kids. I have had a few jobs over the years, none of them even compared to my love for photography. Ever since I was little I always loved going through old albums or taking photos of anything and everything, as I got older my love for photography grew even more when I got my first digital camera. Now that I have children and my friends have children I find myself with my camera attached to my face! A lot of my friends and family have told me I should pursue it as a career but being a full time employee at my "big girl job" and a mother makes it hard to start anything alone. I have been doing it alone now for about 5 years and it has been a dream come true but having someone with the same passion for photography as I have makes it 10 times better! Working with Katie is something new and it couldn't be going any better! I have no doubt that if you choose us to photograph your event, family, or even your dog you will not find 2 people that are as excited about it as we will be. We doing this because of the love we have for capturing memories. My name is Katie and I am a full time teacher as well as full time mom of 3 crazy and energetic boys. I have been teaching for 14 years and have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages. I have a love for art and creativity and have always enjoyed capturing moments in people’s lives that mean the most and make them the happiest. I have always enjoyed looking at pictures and reminiscing the wonderful memories I have made in my life, and wanted to make sure I could do the same for my own family and children. My love of photography has grown since the day I met husband. I wanted to have beautiful memories to share of my wedding day, and one of the happiest times of my life. This passion grew more as I began my own family. My first son was born and I wanted to make sure I captured every moment in his life and I wanted him to be able to remember those moments too. This is when I was given my first professional grade camera. I took many pictures of my son and my two dogs, and as my family grew and I had two more sons, my love of photography grew. I looked forward to being creative with my photography and sharing my work with family and friends. I since then have upgraded my camera, and also have collected a few more lenses to practice and become better. I am very fortunate to have met my husband's cousin Kim who shares a very similar interest in photography, and has also been a great mentor to me. Together we are learning and capturing moments in friends and families lives. We are looking forward to building our business and making this passion and hobby reality for us. We get excited when we book our next client as if we were children choosing the biggest cupcake at a birthday party, and we look forward to you picking us for your next photographed memory!
